After the Rain

When I was living back in Queens, my boyfriend would pick me up at the subway stop after work. One afternoon, as we were returning home, we got caught in a drenching rain. Once the storm blew by, the asphalt reflected the pink of the sunset. I thought it would make a good drawing.

BTW, if you look closely, you’ll see all the traffic lights are green.
