I’ve always been interested in Mary Magdaline in the New Testament. Although this drawing started out as a portrait of a singer, it didn’t look like her. So, it gave me a chance to use the drawing as the Black Madonna.

I’ve always been interested in Mary Magdaline in the New Testament. Although this drawing started out as a portrait of a singer, it didn’t look like her. So, it gave me a chance to use the drawing as the Black Madonna.

This is a one of a kind, original, hand drawn, copyrighted work by artist Roxanne Baldwin. It is created with lightfast colored pencil on aachival 100% cotton rag paper. The dimensions of the drawing are 16x20 inches, matted to 20x24 inches. A Certificate of Authenticitay, signed by Roxanne Baldwin, will be enclosed.
