I’ve always been interested in Mary Magdalene in the New Testament. Although this drawing started out as a portrait of a singer, it didn’t look like her. So, it gave me a chance to use the drawing as the Black Madonna.

This could be fine placed in a kitchen or a work room.

This was created in lightfast colored pencils on archival, 100% cotton rag paper. The dimensions are 16×20 inches, matted to 20×24 inches. It will come with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by artist Roxanne Baldwin.
