I’ve always been intrigued by the cement decorations on the entrance of stone wall. I don’t know what the word for those is, but I’m sure there is one. I did a drawing of those once before when I was in high school. The drawing had some surreal items in it. One of the other students said she had a dream about my drawing. This was the best compliment I’ve ever received.
I digress. The cherubs made this subject especially meaningful. I thought of them guarding the garden (!). It was a paradise in New York City.
