Around here, in summer, roses bloom in lush amounts. The sun is out, it’s a beautiful summer day, and the air is perfumed. I meant to draw this with great shading and detail, but I opted for something experimental instead.

This is a one of a kind, original, hand drawn, copyrighted work by artist Roxanne Baldwin. It is created with lightfast colored pencils on archival 100% cotton rag paper. The dimensions of the drawing are 16x20 inches matted to 20x24 inches.
