When I lived in New York City I worked at the Metropolitan Museum of Art for a while. I had an hour long lunch, and if the weather was nice, I’d go outside. The museum’s exterior was elaborate. I sketched it, and thought it would make a good drawing. I gave the carved face real eyes for interest. I also enjoyed making the reflection in the window.

This is a one of a kind, original, hand drawn, copyrighted work by artist Roxanne Baldwin. It’s created with lighfast colored pencil on archival 100% cotton rag paper.
